I ship water fountains nation wide and used Saia one time. The fountain that was shipped arrived with fork lift holes through the side, ripped open packaging and when unwrapped there was 4 of 7 parts broken. All this was verified by the truck driver on the BOL. We filed a claim and they refused to pay stating it wasn't packed properly. When you make a large purchase and pay for delivery to your residence, you expect the delivery company to actually do their part of the job, which is to deliver your large item. That is NOT what you will get if you choose Saia LTL Motor Freight to deliver your package. This is the worst service I have ever had. If you want anything delivered, not just promised, avoid Saia company by any means. You will save your money, time and sanity. It's my THIRD week of trying to get my delivery. They couldn't locate the shipment, it's not loaded to the truck, they have over a hundred things to locate every day and your shipment is so small and so on. Reconsigned on 11/3, 2 different customer reps confirmed that it will go out for delivery on 11/4, told me at the end of 11/4 that it actually didn't go out for delivery. They then promised that it will got out for delivery on 11/7 morning. On 11/7 morning when I call to follow up with status, they have told me they can't locate the freight. driver came to my house for the delivery, put my package in the middle of my driveway, one night before they told me they would put it inside my garage, instead the middle of the driveway would be better they thought. not very nice people the driver or the customer service i told the driver please to put it inside my garage, not a big deal right? he said nope it's too heavy, but oh well never again i've never using this company again, customer... Was given two different stories about my shipment borrow the truck to pick up my shipment my son took a day off lost a day's wages I removed everything out of my garage ready for The Freight and it never showed up I was lied to twice in the same day.

I contacted Saia in Denver to make sure our freight was delivered during working hours and was promised it would be on a Monday. It never showed so I called them on Tuesday and stated it was on the truck and would be delivered by 1pm. Ok its 1:00pm and called again and stated it would be 1:39pm. Its now 2pm and still no truck. Driver left oversized item on the street, because he did not wanted to put it next to the garage. We do not have a curb in our street. The guy was such an a..... And he blocked the driveway with that package.
