Horrible Delivery Experience
I have been trying to get my products for my store delivered for 2 weeks now. The 1st attempt of delivery driver assigned to my delivery did not have the proper equipment on his truck to remove my product from his truck.
So he advised me to either get a forklift or get someone to help me unload the items from his truck. Renting a forklift is not feasible so I opted to get help removing the stuff from his truck. Which honestly doesn’t make any sense why as the customer am I responsible for removing items from your truck. It’s a safety hazard.
On the 2nd attempt of delivery, I have someone on site to help with removing the items. The drivers then tells me it’s going to take to long for my help to remove the items from his truck and that I would have to have a forklift. I was then contacted by your dispatch department to reschedule the delivery I explain to her the situation she then tells me she going to see what she can do and that she would give me a call back. That was Wednesday 10/30 it is now Monday 11/4 and I still dont have my delivery or a solution to the problem.
The delivery is needed to complete the construction of my store that is set to open next month.
Not only has this experience been horrible but it is holding of my store opening process. I am going to attach pictures that was sent to me from the driver in hopes of a resolution to this problem.

This company STINKS, worst shipper EVER
Long story short, I ordered a metal building kit from Arrow. Pieces of kit missing.
Company shipped the parts promptly but the package has been sitting at Saia terminal only 45 minutes from my house for SEVEN DAYS. They left a message a week ago Friday to schedule delivery appt. I arrived home too late to call back. I call Monday to schedule.
No callback. Call again Tuesday. No callback. Call Wed and ask why scheduling clerk won't call back.
CSR says she can schedule me. Schedules btw 1-6 pm on Friday for delivery. That really doesn't work for me but she says they have no morning deliveries. I cancel clients, which costs me $$, to sit home and wait, and wait, and wait.
Delivery doesn't arrive til after 6. I could have gone ahead and worked. Driver cops an attitude, says his notes say I won't be home til late afternoon. I say scroll down - further notes say I've arranged to be home from 1 pm on.
They arrive in a semi-trailer so they have to unload in the middle of the road and I can't check parts til they leave. One box very battered - I open it and the parts I have been waiting a week for, that I need this weekend in order to complete this nighmare of a so-called building, are completely mangled. Totally useless. What on earth did Saia DO with these parts while they say for a week in their terminal - run over them with a fork truck?
So disgusted and angry. Inexcusable.
