What a joke SAIA, I took two days off of work waiting for a delivery. Monday a SAIA represenative called and told me I had contacted them and requested a bobtail truck to deliver to my residence.

What a load of ***, I never called them, when I requested the items to be delivered on Tuesday they told me to wait at home between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM another day not at work...today they failed to deliver again...uh...uh...uh no reason, we would like to reschedule another deliver date, how about Sunday my next day off...uh we don't work on Sunday...neither do I thats why I had to take two days off from work. No "I'm sorry for the mix up" or any thing they did ask "Are you refusing your delivery?" No I want it now on the second day I took off work. Then don't even ask for Rick O'Dell's email address to complain if you send a complaint to customer service it gets rejected back to you...hum 99.50% satisfaction ha only when you rate your self Mr.

Rick O'Dell.. lousy lousy lousy business never use SAIA again

Problems here with Saia too. My items I need have been driving around on a truck for almost a week.

I talked with customer service and they assured me it would be delivered last Friday by 4pm....NO SHOW

No excuses, no, reasons why it was not delivered then, or the day before when tracing said it was out for delivery. I just requested to the shipper to never use Saia again.

Ticked Off! Delivery was scheduled for 0800, at 5:00pm I called to check on shipment and found it was returned to terminal saying we were closed. Now I have to pay people for the weekend install that we have no supplies for, thanks SAIA

These guys are "CROOKS" from the top down!

I have been dealing with these guys for 3 Months and have gotten the run around from day one. What a Mess!!!!!!!!!

Please Save Your Self and use someone else!

I will not go into details because I'm getting a Lawyer. I'm done with these guys forever. What a poor excuse of a company. :(

I deal with shipping every single day from multiple freight lines. SAIA is by far the worst and the slowest, SAIA driver's, I would suggest getting a job at another truck line.

Averages 4 days for me to get something from Memphis. I can drive there in my car in 2-1/2 hours.

They are a joke. Too bad they can't all be fedex

Dont waste your time, SAIA is a big joke. You frt is handled like ***, it is not the drivers fault.

It starts from the Manager to the dock employees. I have seen dock employees jump on frt, toss, and kick and push a box across an entire dock with a forklift.and if it ant tied down the dock worker will leave with the frt. I have seen so much theft it boggles the mind as to how this company is still in business. spilled haz-mat just pushed off to the side.if you frt is damaged they will restack it with the damages on the inside or take it off and say it's a SLC call your shipper if your short.

and if they get frt from another LTL it is marked as damaged when it is not. Response to SAIA driver ( You may have not contacted Saia, but someone from a logistics company on behalf of the shipper may have called and set up an appointment without your knowledge.) ( that is all bull ***) every terminal has appointment clerks

So far this has been a horrible experienced for me, first I received a call from Saia motor freight customer service rep. requesting a date and time to deliver my order, the date and time we agreed on was 11/23, between 12-4pm.

My daughter received a call around 10:05 am on 11/23 from the driver stating that he was at the entrance to the subdivision and he was afraid to drive his truck into the subdivision because he had a no place to turn around, Saia motor freight customer service rep. called me on Nov. 29 around 3pm to set up another delivery time for my order to be delivered (1 week later). The next date and time we agreed on was 11/30, between 12-4pm, I waited all day for the delivery and around 5pm, I called the Saia motor freight customer service rep and ask what was going on with my order, she look into the system and told me that they cancel the order because they had to reload the order onto a smaller truck.

I ask her why didnรขโ‚ฌโ„ขt someone call me and informed me about this? I have been waiting all day for this delivery and I took off from work to make sure I would be home for the delivery. Saia motor freight customer service rep call me to reschedule another appointment the third appointment, for Thursday 12/2, deliver between 5-7pm, the delivery truck did not show up again!, I call today 12/3 to speak with Saia motor freight customer service rep again to ask about what happen to the delivery last night, they had no excuse.

How many times do I need to set up a date and time for delivery with Saia to get my customer order delivered? Dissatisfied Customer

I am in a similar situation with SAIA. I have already taken 3 partial days off of work, and still haven't received the furniture that I was supposed to get over a week ago. Never doing business with SAIA again.

You can make all of the excuses you want but SAIA is a terrible company!!! That is a fact.

They ruined a shipment and will not even talk to us about the claim.

It cost us $2800 and the customer cancelled on us. This was the 3rd damaged shipment in a row and we will never use you again...

You may have not contacted Saia, but someone from a logistics company on behalf of the shipper may have called and set up an appointment without your knowledge. That does happen quite a bit unfortunately.

They may have given you a window of when the shipment would be delivered, but that is not a definite time. They should of had the driver call you with a more approximate time (I know I do that).

Also, you could have given the terminal a call the day of your delivery to confirm. Residential deliveries are not the easiest to handle in all cases, my experience is at my terminal that 99 percent of them get delivered without a problem.

SAIA is a disgrace to the whole trucking community. First, they sent a truck without a liftgate.

It was printed right on the receipt and when I called them it was like "OH well, we can send it back and send another truck in maybe 3-4 days!

The poor driver had to unload by hand every piece which most were smashed, gouged, punctured, dragged, etc. We filed a claim, but this is the way they treat the small customers with blatant disrepect.

Sorry you had a bad experience. We deliver 1000's of shipments everyday, without problems.

I understand what it is to be a consumer, and have expectations.

As far as being told a specific window of time your delivery would arrive is not something we generally do. Have a great day
